Beckett slabs are a different shape to PSA cases, so a PSA sleeve either will not go on or sits awkwardly. This Mint Fit sleeve is the Regular version cut for BGS cases. It gives a Beckett slab its own clear outer layer, keeping the case face free of the fine scratches that come from boxes, binders and handling, and that a buyer will spot straight away in a listing photo.

Why collectors pick this one

Choosing the right one

Match the sleeve to the thing you are protecting, not to the card. PSA and BGS slab sleeves come in regular and extra thick; mag lock sleeves are split by the case's point range; top loader and booster pack sleeves match those holders. The inner sleeves are the exception — those go directly on the card, in standard or Japanese mini size, top-loading or side-loading.

About the Mint Fit BGS Slab Sleeves — Regular

Beckett and PSA both encapsulate cards in hard acrylic, but the outer dimensions and the label area differ. Buying sleeves cut for the right grader is what stops the sleeve bunching at one end or stretching at the other. Mint Fit splits its slab sleeves by grader for exactly that reason, and this one is for BGS.

Sleeving slabs is mostly about the case rather than the card. The card is already sealed, but the acrylic around it is what people judge at first glance, and a scuffed case drags down how a premium card presents even when the grade is high. A clear sleeve takes that contact instead, and can be replaced if it ever gets worn.

Use these for BGS slabs going into a storage box, a slab case, or a mailer. They also make sense for slabs on display that get picked up and looked at. If part of your collection is graded by PSA, pick up the Mint Fit PSA sleeves for those, in Regular or Extra Thick, so each slab gets a sleeve shaped for its case.

Common questions

What is the difference between regular and extra thick?

Extra thick sleeves fit the deeper slabs — thicker cards produce a thicker case. If a regular sleeve will not go on without force, the slab needs the extra thick version.

What is a side-loading inner sleeve for?

The opening is on the side rather than the top. Combined with a top-loading outer sleeve, the two openings sit at right angles, which seals the card completely when double-sleeved.

Do slab sleeves affect resale?

They help. A slab with clean, unscuffed acrylic presents better and photographs better — the sleeve takes the handling marks that would otherwise land on the case.
