Palms Off Gaming Mag Lock Card Case 100pt
A$4.35 — Pre-order
The 100pt Mag Lock is built for heavy patch cards. Multi-colour patch autographs, dual and triple relics and thick memorabilia inserts usually sit at around 100pt, and these are often the most valuable raw cards in a sports collection. The case wraps the card in clear acrylic on both faces and closes with magnets, so it can be picked up, passed around or put on display without anyone touching the card itself.
Why collectors pick this one
- 100pt: for patch autographs and multi-piece relics
- Holds the edges without pressing on the patch
- Magnetic closure, opens by hand
- Clear acrylic on both faces
- Suits high-value raw sports cards on display
Choosing the right one
Same rule as top loaders: the point rating is the card's **thickness**. 35pt covers almost all modern standard cards; thick stock, patch and relic cards need 55pt and up. A case that is too large lets the card rattle, which defeats the point.
About the Mag Lock Card Case 100pt
A thick memorabilia card is more fragile than it looks. The layers that hold the patch can separate if the card is squeezed, and the edges of the window are the first place a buyer looks for wear. A case matched to 100pt holds the card firmly at the edges without pressing on the patch.
Pick this size for patch autographs, logo patches, multi-piece relics and premium sports cards printed on thick board. If the card fits a 75pt case without resistance, use that, since extra depth lets it move. The thickest booklets and memorabilia cards need 130pt or 180pt.
Load it by separating the halves, laying the card in the recess face up and closing the lid. A 100pt case on a stand makes a sensible centrepiece on a display shelf. If the card is going to be graded, take it out and move it to a semi-rigid holder before posting it to the grader. Wipe the acrylic with a soft microfibre cloth rather than paper towel to avoid fine scratches.

Common questions
Are these UV protective?
Check the individual product page — UV rating varies by case. Regardless of rating, no acrylic case makes a card safe in direct sunlight; keep displayed cards out of it.
Can I put a graded card in one?
No. Graded cards come in their own sealed slab, which is far thicker than any of these. A graded card case is the right product for a slab.
Will the magnets damage the card?
No. The magnets are at the edge of the case, holding the two acrylic halves together — they are not in contact with the card and exert no pressure on it.
