Palms Off Gaming Mag Lock Card Case 35pt
A$3.95 — In stock
The 35pt Mag Lock is the one-touch for the cards you want to look at, not just store. It is sized for standard-thickness modern cards, the same stock as almost every Pokémon, Magic, One Piece, Lorcana and base sports card. Two clear acrylic halves close around the card with a magnetic seal, so it is held still without screws, clips or tape, and both faces stay visible.
Why collectors pick this one
- 35pt: fits standard modern trading cards
- Magnetic closure, no screws or tools
- Clear acrylic on both faces for display
- Rigid on every side, not open at one end
- A display step up from a top loader
Choosing the right one
Same rule as top loaders: the point rating is the card's **thickness**. 35pt covers almost all modern standard cards; thick stock, patch and relic cards need 55pt and up. A case that is too large lets the card rattle, which defeats the point.
About the Mag Lock Card Case 35pt
A top loader keeps a card flat, but it is soft at the open end and looks like storage. A magnetic case is rigid on every side and closes fully, so the card is enclosed rather than sitting in a sleeve with an open top. That makes it the better choice for a card on a shelf, a stand or a display table at a show.
Getting the thickness right is what keeps a one-touch working. A 35pt card in a 35pt case sits in its recess without sliding, so its edges and corners are not tapping against the frame every time the case is picked up. Thicker cards should go up the range: 55pt for heavier stock, 75pt and above for relics and patches.
To load it, separate the two halves along the magnetic join, lay the card in the recess and close the lid; it opens again by hand whenever you want to sell, grade or swap the card. Raw cards bound for grading should come out of the case and go into a semi-rigid holder before submission.

Common questions
Are these UV protective?
Check the individual product page — UV rating varies by case. Regardless of rating, no acrylic case makes a card safe in direct sunlight; keep displayed cards out of it.
Can I put a graded card in one?
No. Graded cards come in their own sealed slab, which is far thicker than any of these. A graded card case is the right product for a slab.
Will the magnets damage the card?
No. The magnets are at the edge of the case, holding the two acrylic halves together — they are not in contact with the card and exert no pressure on it.
