Soft Card Sleeves are Palms Off Gaming's penny sleeve for standard-size cards: 100 clear polypropylene sleeves per pack, acid-free and PVC-free, measuring 65 × 91 mm. About the Soft Card Sleeves — Standard Size
Most surface scratches on cards happen in the seconds after they are pulled, when a bare card is pushed into a top loader or slid across a table. A soft sleeve prevents that. Slide the card in head first, with the opening at the top, and from then on everything else touches the sleeve rather than the card. Because the film is clear polypropylene with no PVC, it is suitable for long-term storage and will not leach anything onto the print.
Use them as the base layer for a 35pt top loader, inside binder pages, in bulk storage boxes, or as a quick cover for cards you are listing or trading. They also suit grading submissions where the card travels sleeved inside a semi-rigid holder; check your grading company's current packing rules before you send. One pack is rarely enough once you start sorting a collection.
Standard size fits English and Japanese Pokémon, Magic, One Piece, Lorcana, Dragon Ball and standard sports cards. If you are protecting Yu-Gi-Oh! cards, buy the Japanese mini version (SCS-JPN), which holds the smaller card without slack. For cards that will be shuffled in a deck, a deck sleeve such as Blackout is the better choice, since penny sleeves are made for protection rather than play.

Which way up does the card go?
Face down, back of the card toward the sleeve opening, so the front is fully covered. When double-sleeving, the inner sleeve goes on upside down relative to the outer one so the two openings do not line up.
