Mint Fit Inner Sleeves are the first layer of a double-sleeve for standard-size cards. They are cut close to the card, so it cannot slide around inside, and they are thin enough to go into a normal deck sleeve or over sleeve on top. Choosing the right one
Two decisions. **Size** — standard fits Pokémon, Magic, One Piece, Lorcana and sports cards; Japanese mini fits Yu-Gi-Oh (Japanese Pokémon cards are standard size). **Loading edge** — a side-loading inner sleeve pairs with a top-loading outer sleeve so the two openings sit at right angles, which seals the card completely.
About the Mint Fit Inner Sleeves — Standard Size
The point of an inner sleeve is fit. A card that moves inside its sleeve rubs its edges and corners every time the deck is shuffled, which is exactly the wear double-sleeving is meant to stop. A snug inner keeps the card still, and the outer sleeve then takes all of the handling. The result is a card that stays sealed against dust, spills and finger oils for as long as the deck is in use.
To double-sleeve, slide the card into the inner sleeve head first, then turn the sleeved card over so the inner sleeve's opening goes into the outer sleeve first. That puts the two openings at opposite ends. Palms Off Premium Over Sleeves and Blackout Deck Sleeves in standard size are both suitable outers. Standard size covers English and Japanese Pokémon, Magic, One Piece, Lorcana and Dragon Ball.
Pick the top-loading inner if you are happy flipping each card as you sleeve it. If you would rather not think about it, the side-loading Mint Fit inner (MF-SLIN-ST) opens on the long edge, so the seal happens automatically. For Yu-Gi-Oh! cards, use the Japanese size (MF-IN-JPN).

Common questions
Why double-sleeve at all?
The inner sleeve holds the card snugly and never gets handled; the outer sleeve takes all the shuffling and table contact. Wear ends up on a sleeve you can replace rather than on the card.
Which way up does an inner sleeve go?
Upside down relative to the outer sleeve, so the two openings do not line up. With a side-loading inner sleeve the openings are already at right angles, which achieves the same thing more reliably.
Will a double-sleeved card still fit a binder pocket?
Usually yes, though the binder will sit fuller when every pocket is loaded. A top loader binder is the better choice if most of the collection is double-sleeved.
