About Victor Wembanyama
Victor Wembanyama arrived from France as the first pick of the 2023 draft, standing around 2.24 m with guard skills and the reach to block almost anything. He was the unanimous 2024 Rookie of the Year and finished second in Defensive Player of the Year voting in his first season.
His cards were the most sought-after of any rookie class in years, and his sophomore-season products carried the same demand.
Collecting Victor Wembanyama
The 2023-24 Panini Prizm base rookie #136 is the volume card everyone chases, with the Silver Prizm the standard premium parallel and the coloured, numbered Prizms above that. Prizm Draft Picks (released first) and Donruss Rated Rookie are the cheaper rookie-year alternatives, and the National Treasures Rookie Patch Autograph is the top card.
Because demand is so high, fakes of the Prizm rookie and Silver exist. Buy graded or from a trusted seller, and compare the refractive pattern with a known copy.
