Dust specks and fingerprint smudges are easy to miss until a card is under bright light, and they can show up on a grader's bench as surface marks. A gentle wipe with an anti-static cloth removes loose dust and light prints from the card face without scrubbing. Work on a clean, flat surface, use light pressure in one direction, and move the card straight into a penny sleeve once it is clean. Never use liquids or household cleaners on a card.

The three-pack means you can keep one cloth for raw cards, one for sleeves, top loaders and semi-rigids, and a spare in your submission kit or travel bag. Swap to a fresh cloth when one picks up grit, since a dirty cloth can drag particles across a surface.
