The case is a thin metal frame with a clear glass panel front and back. Drop your PSA slab in and the multi-point magnetic lock pulls the two halves together and holds them shut, closing snugly to keep dust out; a finger notch on the side makes it easy to open again. There are no screws to strip and nothing clamps down on the slab. The metal frame takes the knocks on the corners and edges, which is where a plastic slab usually scuffs or chips first, while the glass keeps the label and card in full view. The supplier rates the glass as UV-resistant, which helps slow fading on a shelf that catches daylight.

The black frame is the understated choice. It steps back and lets the card's artwork and the grade on the label do the talking, which is why it suits mixed shelves where Pokémon, sports and Magic slabs sit side by side.

Outer size is 86 × 142 mm, and the opening is 81 × 136 mm with 7 mm of depth, a close fit for a standard PSA slab. Slabs from other graders vary: BGS slabs are larger and will not fit, so measure a CGC or other slab against those numbers before you order. The flat faces stack squarely on a shelf or in a drawer, and a case stands up well in an acrylic stand on a desk or a card-show table. Choose this over a soft slab sleeve when the slab is going on display or is worth enough to deserve a hard shell; a sleeve is the better pick for bulk storage or posting a slab.
